Tae Hwang, DDS, MS, is an endodontist at Coastal Carolina Endodontics. Dr. Tae earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan, where he later completed his specialty training in endodontics and earned a Master of Science degree. Between dental school and specialty training, he practiced as a general dentist for three years, giving him a broad clinical perspective and a strong appreciation for collaborative patient care. Dr. Tae grew up in South Korea and is fluent in Korean. He is excited to begin serving patients throughout the Lowcountry.
Outside the office, Dr. Tae enjoys playing and watching soccer, staying active, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his wife, Shelby, and their cat, Max. They are also excited to welcome a new puppy, Blue, to the family.
